Injectables, lasers, peels, and in-office cosmetic surgery, performed by board-certified dermatologists, never technicians.

Overview

What is Cosmetic Dermatology?

Cosmetic dermatology helps you look as healthy, refreshed, and confident as you feel. At PS Dermatology, our cosmetic treatments are performed by board-certified dermatologists (not technicians), so you can be confident that the person planning your treatment understands your skin from a medical perspective first.

We offer the full range of in-office cosmetic care: injectables like Botox and dermal fillers, fractional CO2 laser resurfacing, chemical peels, body contouring, scar revision, and eyelid lifts. Every cosmetic plan starts with an honest consultation about what's realistic, what's worth it, and what isn't. Our goal is natural-looking results, never overdone.

Patient Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer free cosmetic consultations?
Yes. Cosmetic consultations are complimentary and include a detailed discussion of your goals, an honest assessment of what is realistic, a recommended treatment plan, and transparent pricing. There is no pressure to schedule anything during the consult; many patients take time to consider before booking treatment.
How long do results from Botox and fillers last?
Neuromodulators like Botox typically last 3–4 months. Dermal fillers vary by product and area: lip fillers usually last 6–12 months, cheek and jawline fillers can last 12–18 months or more. Individual results depend on metabolism, the area treated, and how aggressively the product is broken down by your body. We will give you a realistic timeline at your consult.
Who actually performs my treatment, a dermatologist or a tech?
A board-certified dermatologist performs your injectable treatments and laser procedures. We do not use a medspa model where technicians do the work and a doctor is only loosely involved. This matters: complications from injectables (vascular events, asymmetry, infection) are real and are best handled by a physician who understands the underlying anatomy.
What's the downtime for CO2 laser and chemical peels?
It depends on the depth. Light chemical peels typically have 1–3 days of mild flaking. Mid-depth peels can have 5–7 days of visible peeling. Fractional CO2 laser usually has 5–7 days of redness and skin shedding, with full settling over a few weeks. We will walk you through what to expect before treatment so you can plan around important events.
Can I combine multiple cosmetic treatments in one visit?
Often yes. Many patients combine a neuromodulator with filler at the same visit, or pair a peel with light injectables. Some combinations should be staged (we don't typically do deep laser the same day as filler in the same area, for instance). Your dermatologist will sequence treatments for the best result and safest recovery.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
We accept all major credit cards and offer financing through CareCredit, which can spread larger cosmetic plans across monthly payments with promotional zero-interest periods. Ask our front desk for current options at your consult.
